This fellow dropped in on me today, literally falling off a wall as I walked by. I know they are legless lizards but...
I suspect he had just come out of hibernation and hadn't found his (lack of) land legs yet. Picked him up to put him back but couldn't resist a photo. We get a quite a few of them here, particularly around the compost heap.
